Joomchi is a Korean paper craft that's been around for more than 500 years. The craft centres around deconstructing several existing sheets of mulberry tissue to form one new sheet.
In this class, you’ll learn the meditative process of bonding paper fibres without adhesives, creating stunning pieces with depth and dimension. Perfect for all skill levels, Joomchi offers a beautiful way to explore texture, colour, and form while connecting with a centuries-old craft.
The workshop is give by Alina Slav a Romanian artist with a real dedication for traditional paper crafts and cultural preservation.Alina is a natural teacher, self taught and full of passion for her craft.
