Get creative and make your next lampshade one-of-a-kind! Sheila will take you through all the steps to make your own unique lampshade for your home. This style of lampshade, as in the image, is made from a combination of our Japanese Chiyogami and Nepalese Handmade Lokta papers. You can choose from our comprehensive paper selection on the day. There are so many possibilities.
The price of the class includes all the materials you will need including a 30cm diameter frame (retail €26.95)
The workshop takes place in the studio over our shop in Terenure in Dublin D6WXN23.
Max 4 people per class.

I really enjoyed the Lampshade Workshop. Sheila explained everything thoroughly and it was good fun. The great thing is that you end up with a lovely item you have made yourself albeit helped by Sheila.
Fab afternoon making a beautiful lampshade.. so enjoyable and relaxing.. done at your own pace … can’t wait to go back and buy some fab paper and try make some beautiful cards also…

Spent a really lovely afternoon at the lampshade workshop with Sheila who is such an encouraging, kind and inspirational lady. The array of beautiful papers available to make your lampshade is so amazing it made it hard to make a decision on what to pick but Sheila and her husband Paul were on hand to help us. There were 3 other lovely ladies in our group and there was a great fun atmosphere. We made 4 amazing lamps and I think I can say we were all thrilled with our creations. I absolutely loved this workshop. Sheila is a clear and encouraging teacher, and the output of the day is so satisfying! I love looking at my lampshade knowing I made it... And have a feeling it's the first of many.
