Artist Book with Sinead Lawson

Have a wonderful day with Sinead combining Gelli Art, embroidery and book binding.

This is a full day workshop starting at 11am, there is a 45 minute break in the middle and you'll finish up at 4:30.

The the morning you'll plan out your book and print it using the Gelli Art plate. In the images here you'll see that Sinead designed her book "no strings attached" and printed accordingly. You can work on your own theme, or maybe no theme at all but at this stage Sinead can guide you so that your morning's printing can evolve into a book.

In the afternoon you'll be embroidering into your prints and binding your book.

Lunch is not included.  You're free to bring a packed lunch to eat here or visit the many cafes in Terenure.

This workshop is the evolution of the many workshops Sinead has done in Liberties Papers over the years. Sinead is a hugely experienced mixed media artist and teacher. Her work is featured in Suzanne Mc Neill's "Gelli Arts Printing guide". She has been teaching in Liberties Papers for three years. Her relaxed manner and can-do attitude is appealing to people of all abilities.
