This is a wonderful ecological paper. Made by hand in the foothills of the Himalayas, it gives local rural skilled employment especially for women. The crop of lokta is harvested from the bark of the lokta bush each year, and its growth prevents soil erosion and is an important biological reservoir.
This large sheet 51 x 76cm has 4 deckle edges, 20gsm.
From the image you will see that each sheet has unique imperfections, not uncommon in a handmade paper.
Suitable for fly leaves in bookbinding, and many types of crafting and card making.
