This paper is one of a collection of over 30 coloured handmade lokta papers with a smooth surface and a nice even distribution of fibres.

It is a wonderful ecological paper. Made by hand in the foothills of the Himalayas, it gives local rural skilled employment especially for women. The crop of lokta is harvested from the bark of the lokta bush each year, and its growth prevents soil erosion and is an important biological reservoir.

A4 sheet 210x297mm has 4 cut edges. 55-60gsm (Sent flat)

510x760mm has 4 deckle edges, 55-60gsm. (Sent rolled in a tube)

Suitable for bookbinding (especially end papers) calligraphy and many types of crafting and card making.
