    The gel plate is an extremely versatile piece of equipment used for creating monoprints with beautiful colours, layers and textures. It is light and easy to take with you wherever you go and offers so many opportunities for play and experimentation.

    This class provides an introduction to the gel plate and a variety of ways to use it with every day items like leaves, string, bubble wrap and feathers to create beautiful unique prints that can be used in a variety of ways for greeting cards, framed prints, collage, gift wrap and gift tags.

    Sinéad is a mixed media artist who enjoys using the gel plate to create one of a kind prints and then exploring their interaction with other techniques like embroidery and bookmaking. Sinead’s gel print work is featured in the book ‘Gelli Arts Printing Guide’ by Suzanne McNeill.
    The workshop takes place in the studio over our shop in Terenure in Dublin D6WXN23.

    Great introduction to Gelli art

    This was a great introduction to Gelli art. All the basics were covered allowing us to create our first prints. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to learn this craft. Sinead was very thorough and helpful and of course, very creative, allowing us to learn in a friendly and supportive environment

    Fantastic workshop

    My daughter and I really enjoyed the fantastic Gelli art workshop. The whole experience was wonderful, from Sinead's clear explanations of the process to the small class size and then finally the excitement of peeling back the paper to reveal our creations! I would highly recommend this workshop.

    A wonderful way to spend a few hours

    I had the delight to attend this class recently and it was really lovely. A wonderful group of ladies learning together.
    Sinead is a fantastic teacher and carefully guided us through the technique.
    I would highly recommend this class and will definitely to looking to book more classes in the future.

    We had such a lovely evening at Sineads gelli plate class.Sinead was so generous with her knowledge and made us feel very welcome. Plenty of materials to experiment with ,we went home inspired! Will definitely do another of Sineads classes.
