Screw punch

This is a really handy tool that will punch holes in leather, board and paper. Downward pressure on the handle causes the mechanism to rotate like a drill bit and make clean holes. With a traditional holepunch you are limited to making holes around the side of your paper, with this punch you can make holes of different sizes anywhere.

Commonly know as a Japanese Screw Punch this one is made in China and costs about a third of the price of one made in Japan. We were suspicious about the quality, but after testing we are very happy. It makes a lovely clean hole, it's easy to change the bit sizes, and the waste paper is pushed out with each pressing down movement.
